The Importance of Prayer

This video is what someone witnessed after they passed. It is their personal journey. Based on other stories that I have heard and seen, everyone's near-death experience seems to be tailored to the individual, but the message remains consistent.
Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV )
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The video gives a visual, but just want to remind us to pray for each other. We typically pray over our concerns and praise requests but let us also pray for each other's health.
Many of us need answers about our health and don't even realize it because its symptoms--both mentally and physically--have become such a norm in our lives that we don't even think to question it.
This semester, let's prepare to tear down strongholds in our lives.
The more prayers we send up as a network, the more of the enemy's
plans we abort. Let's pray that those of us who need to adopt healthier habits--such Walk and Talk where get they fresh air, great company and exploratory conversation-- will take healthy action for longer happier lives. Let's also pray that we recognize and complete our unique assignments thoroughly and in God's excellence.
And remember, it doesn't have to be a long complicated prayer, just a sincere one. God also loves to hear His own Word returned back to Him in prayer. For example, we can take Philippians 4:6-7 and turn it into a prayer:
Dear God,
Do not let [My Pastors/My Family/ Walk and Talk members/people at my job/my enemy] be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let their requests be made known to You. And allow Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

The video was different.
Noticed the video said that prayers from people in our family who have passed still make a difference in the present which means we should pray within God's will of our family (not just our desires) since he knows what is best. We don't want our prayers to become a burden to our family.
Similar to how the blessings of Isaac were so specific that he had to divide his blessings up among his set of twins, Jacob and Esau which was partly the cause of division among the brothers.
There is a Biblical pattern that the oldest child gets skipped when it comes to getting the family blessing. Traditionally its the oldest child that gets the blessing but in many cases in the Bible, the youngest gets the blessing. Examples: Cain, Able, and Seth; Jacob over Esau; Joseph over his older brothers; Rachel over Leah; David over his brothers; etc,
